About McDowell Farms
Family Farm
Chad and Renee McDowell are the owner/operators of McDowell Farms. Both growing up on farms, farming has always been a part of their lives. They married in 1993. Their children; Caleb, Josie, and Grace have all worked on the farm growing up. Caleb McDowell continues to work as the business manager. Grace married Cody Rothwell in 2022 and he is the swine production manager.

Animal Welfare
Our animals are GAP certified. GAP stands for Global Animal Partnership.
- Hogs are Step 3: Have outdoor access with vegetation, no tail docking, provided enrichments such as sprinklers when hot.
- Cattle are Step 4: On pasture 75% of life, no feed lots, older weaning ages.
